Sweat Helps Lose Weight?

Many people believe that the more you sweat, the more fat is burned. But is it true? Apparently not!

There have been many articles that discuss this issue, but still not a few people who think that sweating it means burning more fat. It is true that you burn fat during exercise, but all of it because you are exercising, instead of how much you sweat.

Let Us Know Closer Sweat

Just what is sweat? Sweat comes from the liquid produced by the skin glands. Sweat is composed of various components such as lactate, sodium chloride, minerals, water and urea. Sweating is a natural thing that happens and is caused due to body heat or over heating so that the body secretes fluid to cool. That way, the body can lose heat out and lower the body temperature.

What Causes Many Or At Least Sweat?

Sweat can be caused by many factors such as physical activity, genetics, gender, metabolism, temperature, emotional state, the presence of the disease and the use of certain drugs.

Body heat or overheating can be caused by hot temperatures, sauna, as well as stress and muscle warming when we exercise. Well, when we do physical activities such as sports, the body undergoes two processes which burn fat at the same time and produce sweat.

Sweat And Fat

The question, whether to spend a lot of sweat is equal to burn more fat? Unfortunately not. In addition to the factors already mentioned above, each person also produce sweat in a number of different sports such as length and weight at the time. Sweating is simply a mechanism that occurs in the body so that the body temperature can remain stable.

When we exercise, we need energy, and therefore there were burning fat for energy supplies we need. When the energy production process, the body temperature will increase and generate heat. To cope with the ever-increasing body temperature, the body immediately reacts to cool. Therefore, sweat issued to keep the body temperature remained normal.

As was already mentioned, the amount of sweat that comes out of each person is different during this cooling mechanism. So, it does not mean the less we sweat the less fat burned. Sweating and burning fat are two completely different things.

Based on research conducted at Kobe University and Osaka International, proving that men produce more sweat than women when exercising, but even so, there is absolutely nothing to do with fat burning.

Some people may experience or feel lighter when release more sweat. But, wait a minute! Not reduced our fat, but the water in our body!

Our body is made up of 75% water, so if we do a lot of sweat, then it would be sensible if your body feels lighter, not so?

Dehydration remember!

You may often see people jogging with wearing a thick jacket so he could spend a lot of sweat and burn more calories. This is not true. Not only make them dehydrated with endless fluid in the body, but also had no effect on body fat is burned.

Dehydration that only 2% of total body water can provide a 30% impact on the performance of the body due to fatigue. If exceeded 15% of the total body, then it could be fatal for the body as death. Therefore, when we spend a lot of fluids in the body, then we should be looking for a replacement.

So, do jogging during the day by using a thick jacket is not meant to help increase fat burning. The high temperature for the day, a thick jacket indeed increase the temperature in our body that are automatically removed sweat to cool, but it does not mean fat burning so increased as well and help us lose weight.

Therefore, if you want to lose weight then do the right thing and effective, such as organizing a healthy diet and exercise regularly. This is the most effective way and help you to burn more fat and lose weight.
