Why Sleep Deprivation can Increase Weight

It's time you should have enough time to sleep when you want to lose weight. There is a very interesting phrase of this article. And that is why I want to share it to you that you better understand why adequate sleep can help you to lose weight.

A study has been carried out and this is the result :

Many people assume that most sleep can increase the weight, and it's wrong. A study has shown otherwise.
Healthy sleep is about 8 -9 hours. If you are less than this, then you have less problem sleeping.

"There are genes in our body that cause body weight gain, and the gene can be increased if we lack sleep. The fewer genes you have, the less weight gain, "stated a neurologist and a deputy director at the University of Washington named Nathaniel Watson.

Previously been no studies looking at the correlation between sleep and weight, but in this study only look at the function of the genetic alone.

The data report containing about sleep duration and body weight were analyzed by Watson and colleagues. Even more incredibly, it turns out that research conducted on twins dentik 604, and 484 pairs of fraternal twins.

There is a term called short sleep which means that people who sleep less than 7 hours. For those who sleep more than nine hours is a person who has been wasting his time for sleep. At that time, the respondents have a lifespan of approximately 37 years.

The first time includes the results of these studies is the Journal of the American Academy of Sleep Medicine. The results of the research shows that people who sleep enough at night to have a lower body mass than those who sleep less.

"Body Mass Index or BMI will increase when a person lacking sleep." Stated Watson.

Then genetic factors only provide 32% risk weight gain in twin pairs who had hours of sleep more than 9 hours. While the twins are genetic factors contribute 70% to weight gain occurs when children sleep less than 7 hours.

Please note, that the genetic elements that can cause weight gain would be very little if you can sleep with enough every night. Usually this increase is due to external factors such as hunger, fiologis, metabolism, fat etc.

USA Today also said that lack of sleep can lead to increased hormone hunger and satiety hormones decrease. Because of hunger caused by lack of sleep here, the weight can be increased.

You should ensure that you have enough sleep because of this reason. Professor of Psychology named Jodi Mindell said, "Losing weight will go well if you start with enough sleep."
